In June 2023 Upwell, St Peter were awarded a grant of £6,000 from the Norfolk Churches Trust towards work to rebuild the buttress on the south side of the church and for new surface water drains on the north and south side of the building.
We are pleased to see that the remedial work on the drainage system and the associated masonry repairs has now been completed.
We are sure that you agree that this is a vast improvement and will help keep the building watertight, as we know water ingress is not a church’s best friend.
