The preservation of St Margaret’s in Ruins, West Raynham

St Margaret’s church in West Raynham, was originally constructed in the 1320s but by the 18th century it had fallen into disrepair. The St Margaret’s in Ruins Conservation Trust was founded in 2023 and aims to preserve the heritage and environmental significance of St Margaret’s Church ruins, this historic site in West Raynham, North Norfolk.

The St Margaret’s in Ruins Conservation Trust is working to stabilize and conserve the ruins with plans to establish a Centre of Excellence at St Margaret’s, offering education and training opportunities in skills essential for heritage and environmental conservation, such as stone masonry and restoration, green skills development, and churchyard management.
