80th Commemoration of Victory over Japan. All are invited to hear well-known local historian Neil Storey give an illustrated presentation about The War in the Far East. Hear his account of the combat and eventual ending of the war including personal family reminiscences.
A further talk by Steve Briggs: “HMS Persimmon in the Indian Ocean 1943-1946” will follow.
